2025 Capital Funds Campaign
It is with great joy that we share this incredible opportunity and challenge. We are embarking on a $300,000 Capital Funds Campaign.

We feel this is a very fitting time for this campaign because we are celebrating our 120th year of ministry in Rochester this year! We will also be engaging in the Lead Pastor transition.
Over the 120 years of ministry Peace has provided incredible legacy of ministry, support, love, and care to countless people. We have done everything we do with a very specific purpose… to love and affirm all people guided by God’s love. As we step into the future with new leadership, we draw on the past for strength, and create a new legacy with purpose as we move into the future! Our hope is to live into this year with these major expenses covered so we can effectively move forward.
To provide a solid foundation and create a new LEGACY WITH PURPOSE our $300,000 campaign will:
Pay off the mortgage on the building addition
We have made incredible progress paying off the initial mortgage of $1.2 million in 5 years. We have a remaining mortgage of $180,000 that we would like to pay off.
Provide funds to replace the Fellowship Hall roof
All other roof sections of the church facility have been replaced. Our Fellowship Hall roof is past its time and we are experiencing frequent leaks/repairs. The approximate cost to replace this roof is $50,000-$60,000
Provide funds to repair/reseal the parking lots
Our parking lots are in need of repair/resealing/restriping. This has not been done for a number of years, andthe parking lot is showing signs of major wear. The approximate cost to repair the parking lot is $40,000-$50,000.
We know this is a big ask.
We are, however, prayerfully asking you to consider your LEGACY WITH PURPOSE gift and/or pledge. This gift/pledge is above and beyond current general fund giving. Our intent is to raise the $300,000 over a 3 year period. If you would like to make a one-time gift that is awesome! If you wish to pledge, and share your gifts over the 3 year period, we greatly value and welcome that as well. We are just thankful for your participation to realize this goal.
We would like to receive all pledge cards and/or initial gifts by Easter Sunday, April 20, 2025 so we can announce our results and celebrate fully with our community on Resurrection Day!
